How to Transfer USDT Between Exchanges Without Using the Wrong Network
A safe exchange-to-exchange USDT transfer workflow covering the receiving network, address checks, minimum deposits, test transfers, TXIDs, and delayed credits.
Moving USDT from Exchange A to Exchange B requires more than pasting an address. Four fields must agree: asset, network, address, and memo or tag when the receiving page requires one.

Start at the Receiving Exchange
Open Deposit on Exchange B and select USDT. Record the supported network, full address, minimum credit amount, and required confirmations. If a memo or tag appears, copy it too.
This order matters. Choosing a cheap network on the sending exchange is useless if the receiver does not support it.
Complete a Five-Field Preflight

Use a Test Transfer for a New Route
For a planned 2,000 USDT transfer, first send the smallest practical amount that remains above the receiving minimum. Wait until the receiving exchange credits it, then reuse the verified route for the balance.
The second withdrawal fee is the cost of verifying the route. It confirms the address, network, and receiving credit system before the larger amount is exposed.
Track the Transfer Correctly
- Pending or Review with no TXID: the exchange has not broadcast the transaction. Check security reviews and platform notices.
- TXID available: open the appropriate block explorer and check status and confirmations.
- Successful on-chain but not credited: collect the TXID, asset, network, amount, destination, and time, then contact the receiving exchange.
